The spiritual island of Shikoku holds 1,200 years of history and pilgrimage culture. Shikoku is surrounded by the ocean on all four sides, and you can experience the endless green of its mountains and see beautiful clear streams as you travel through its lands.  Its bountiful nature is one that can heal the heart.

The organizer has just opened up registration internationally for their “Challenge 1,000 km Project,” which has participants cycle around all of Shikoku.
Should you choose to participate in the event, you will receive an original cycling jersey and challenge pass.  If you complete the challenge within 3 years after signing up, you will receive a certificate and a medal for your completion. Please see the website for more specific details!!
