An Ikebana workshop was held by JETAA India at Daulat Ram College, Delhi University, India. About 50 students who are studying Japanese participated in it.

　An instructor from the Ikebana school first explained what Ikebana was and then they demonstrated it in front of the students.

　After that, the students tried flower arrangement for themselves. Because it was their first time, they looked a little nervous at the beginning. But they enjoyed the session and looked very happy when they had finished.

　Though JETAA India is still a small organization, they have been working actively since last year to promote Japanese culture. Besides the Ikebana workshop, they also held a Yukata-experience event for the students last October.

　J.CLAIR Singapore would like to support their activities and we hope they continue to play an active role in connecting Japan and India.
